Kinderland Maisson is located in the new and modern Maisson By The Park, Ara Damansara. It is a childcare, nursery and preschool that offers educational programmes for infants and young children age 3 months to 6 years.
The centre has been around since late 2017, providing a well-rounded and child-centric curriculum trusted by parents internationally.
Holistic Education with Music-Infused Activities
The Kinderland integrated curriculum started in Singapore in 1978, establishing an educational approach for young kids that significantly employs the use of music. Through music and movement-infused activities, kids are able to grow in different areas of development such as physical, socioemotional, language, creative expression and logical thinking.
Imagination, fun, dramatic play, and discovery are at the core of the Kinderland curriculum, where kids are guided through a childhood that leads to sustained, lifelong learning.
Outside of the main curriculum, Kinderland also offers enrichment classes that enhance kids’ development and creativity, such as English and Chinese Speech & Drama. The options made available at Kinderland Maisson change based on parents’ wants and needs for their little ones.
Trilingual Curriculum
It is Kinderland’s aim to create a well-balanced learning experience for all children, which not only prepares them academically but also allows each child to reach their full potential.
This is why they provide a trilingual education that uses Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to teach interesting and relevant themes. In accordance with these themes, children are brought on fun field trips that expose them to real-life, practical learning.
Teaching Kids About Technology
Children at Kinderland Maisson have a great advantage because they are introduced to the basic fundamentals of programming. Kids here learn coding through the use of a programmable and educational robot, called ‘Bee-Bot’.
Besides that, they also learn about how to be responsible users of modern technology, which is especially important in the 21st century.

The facilities at Kinderland Maisson are particularly special. The centre is always finding new ways to upgrade what they have and make it more conducive to children’s development.
For infants, there are dedicated rooms for their sleep, care and play.
If you visit Kinderland Maisson, you’ll surely notice how new, spacious and cleverly designed the physical environment is. Everything is child-sized and created with kids’ learning in mind. When kids enter the centre, there are labelled shoe and bag cubbies where they can independently place their items, which encourages ownership and confidence.
Their kitchen area, which is purposefully built with a low counter and window, allows kids to pick up their meals and bring it to their table. There’s also a trolley for them to keep their used cutleries and plates. All these practices teach children good habits.
Kids here are encouraged to explore the space, but they are also aware of what they should or shouldn’t do. It’s all part of inculcating curiosity, alongside a sense of responsibility.
Engaging Events Where All Are Involved
Kinderland Maisson holds an annual concert where all children are involved—even toddlers get up on stage and participate in this grand showcase. Sometimes the centre would join together with other Kinderland branches for this yearly event, bringing about a buzzing and lively atmosphere for students and families.
Even the enrichment classes, like Taekwondo and Speech & Drama, will stage a show where families get to see what their children have been learning at school.
Close Relationships with Parents
The team at Kinderland Maisson are very open to listening to parents’ concerns, wants and feedback. Three times a year, parents are invited to meetings with teachers to discuss their children’s progress. Other than that, parents are able to track what their kids have been learning every week through a parent-teacher communication book. This book contains information about their kids’ whole development, such as any age-appropriate developmental milestones reached.
Dynamic and Professional Early Childhood Educators
The teachers at Kinderland Maisson are qualified, adept and committed to the centre’s educational vision. When it comes to their specialist music teachers, they only hire individuals from a music background, while new teachers undergo an orientation week and period of observation before being confirmed.

All Kinderland centres are observed for quality control annually and training is then delivered to teachers according to what needs to be addressed. This regular training spurs continuous skill expansion and professional development for their educators.
Kids’ Safety: A Priority
Kinderland Maisson is located within a building that is patrolled by security guards. Moreover, kids here go through a fire drill practice three times a year and only individuals who are authorized by parents beforehand are able to pick up students. Clearly, there’s a strong focus on safety here.
Cleanliness and hygiene are also emphasised, with a full-time centre helper tasked to keep the environment safe and healthy for everyone.
