Little Dreamers Childcare Centre, Klang offers infant and childcare services to children aged 2 months to 4 years. Opened in 2019, the centre provides parents with the peace of mind knowing that they have selected a safe, nurturing and playful environment for their children to grow. During these precious first few years, loving caregivers are committed to guide the little ones to discover the wonders of the world and lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.  

Here, children spend their days playing and exploring in a delightful, brightly painted facility. Upon entering, the centre feels cosy and uncluttered with a comfortable amount of natural light flowing in from the large windows. There are structured areas catering to different age groups – one fitted with cots for the infants; the other, an open area for the toddlers to enjoy activities shaped to their needs and interests. Each and every space is carefully organised with developmentally appropriate furniture, materials and playsets.

At Little Dreamers, teachers want nothing more than to have children feel excited and happy to come in every day as they know children grow and learn best when they are having fun. Teachers share the excitement when children laugh, show progress and achieve milestones. They understand that no two children are the same, so this is why they tailor their programmes to meet the unique needs of each child at every learning stage and motivate them to grow at their own pace.

Little Dreamers Programmes

The centre offers two programmes: Infant Care (2-18 months) & Toddlers (19-48 months).

Infant Care (2-18 months)

Beginning at 2 months, the Infant Care programme is designed to nurture the littlest ones with personalised care based on their unique schedule and nutritional guidelines. At this delicate stage, each child develops a nurturing relationship with a designated caregiver, fostering a sense of trust, security and safety. Caregivers attentively encourage infant development with simple activities to help them reach early sensory, feeding, communication and motor milestones such as learning to roll over, crawl, smile and babble. Simple yet powerful development-boosting activities include baby massage, hydrotherapy, flashcards, music, nursery rhymes, scribbling, sponge play, painting with toy cars, and many more other sensory and visual stimulation activities. The caregivers work in close consultation with parents to understand each infant’s needs and routines to ensure they form a comfortable sense of belonging here at the centre. Throughout, parents are kept up to date through the Oodlins mobile app.

Toddlers (19-48 months)

As the little ones grow up, the programme carefully nurtures the transition between infancy to toddlerhood. Children are gently guided towards a more organised and structured schedule to provide consistent activity and rest times. The focus is to expose them to a wide variety of hands-on experiences that cultivate social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. During their time at the centre, each day is filled with wonder. They get to enjoy many fun thematic-based activities, such as writing with popsicle sticks, slicing play dough, painting on foil, cultural celebration crafts, purposeful play, practical life exercises, baking, cooking and water play, while actively picking up early concepts across a broad range of learning domains – from literacy and numeracy to art and science. As children take their first steps toward independence, they start developing better communication ability, confidence, self-esteem and social intelligence to progress to kindergarten.

Health, Safety and Well-being is Paramount

Little Dreamers prioritises the health, safety and well-being of children under their care. Safety gates and CCTV cameras are installed to ensure children grow within secure perimeters; thorough sanitisation and cleaning are carried out routinely, especially in times like now; teachers are trained in first aid procedures in case of emergencies. Maintaining a nurturing environment also means feeding children with a wholesome Halal menu of meals and snacks that are freshly prepared in-house.
