3Q MRC Toddlers strive to provide toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years with the right start in life. The goal is to spark a love of learning from an early age and encourage toddlers on a lifelong journey in education that excites, inspires and stimulates their minds. Through the unique 3Q™ MRC Toddlers programme, specially designed learning spaces and a strong focus on relationships, the school gives toddlers the best possible environment to play, learn and become the best versions of themselves. With years of collective experience in providing well-rounded early educational services, 3Q MRC Toddlers got families covered to ensure little ones thrive.
The facilities are designed to complement the holistic programme. Babies and toddlers enjoy their play time and learning in an open-plan concept that cover all areas needed for their development. There are spaces catering to different age groups and opens out onto an outdoor area. Purposeful materials are thoughtfully set up to encourage toddlers to explore a diverse range of interests to help them discover and reach their full potential.
The strength of the curriculum lies in its ability to develop the whole brain, helping toddlers boost both the logical and creative side of the brain. Little ones are able to grasp a strong understanding of many different concepts due to the integrated nature of the lessons across varied themes. Lessons integrate learning into play, exploration, a broad range of hands-on activities, individual tasks, as well as collaborative groupwork. Through this diverse curriculum, toddlers are able to maximize their potential to grow into well-rounded and engaged lifelong learners.
Learning underscores Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. To complete the development of the whole brain, teachers focus their attention on 9 different areas of intelligences: Linguistic (“word smart”), Logical-Mathematical (“number/reasoning smart”), Musical (“musically smart”), Spatial (“picture smart”), Bodily/Kinesthetic (“physically smart”), Interpersonal (“people smart”), Intrapersonal (“self smart”), Naturalistic (“nature smart”) and Existential (“cosmic smart”).
Parents will find the school to be both child and family-centred. The provision of after school childcare and meals make a welcomed addition of services to busy working parents. Structured times for learning, playing, eating and napping offer long-lasting academic and social benefits for toddlers, as well as economic benefits for parents. The extension of after school care interaction allows toddlers to spend more time around their peers, where they can learn to share and problem-solve together, while their minds expand and personalities emerge.
All aspects of the environment and learning practices look to nurture little ones into confident and competent individuals when they grow up. Toddlers are always encouraged to have a positive mindset, be proactive in terms of learning, be creative in challenging situations and be responsible for their own decisions. All of which can increase their capacity to lead a balanced and successful life.
It is the aim of the school to expose toddlers to a variety of educational experiences that will help make the transition to kindergarten a smooth and positive one. The 3Q MRC Junior Kindergarten adopts the same learning framework, one that aims to develop the whole brain. The supportive programmes are created to stimulate all aspects of child development and children will flourish both intellectually and emotionally. Over time, children will build a concrete foundation for literacy, mathematical, science and moral values. The kindergarten advocates for play, physical movement and talent exploration as part of the optimal development for children. The philosophy and goals of the kindergarten adequately primes children’s brains for learning and refine skills necessary for great achievements in primary school.
