King’s International School, Seremban is an inclusive institution that offers a quality British-based curriculum, spanning early years education, primary school, and secondary school under one roof.
Established in 2022, the school was founded by a group of visionary educators and community leaders, who recognised the need for an excellent international school in Seremban. Driven by a desire to provide a holistic and inclusive education for young minds, the school focuses on nurturing academic excellence, building character, and cultivating a sense of global citizenship.
Since its inception, King’s International School has gained a reputation as a reputable international school, thanks to its holistic curriculum that includes the Cambridge International and International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes.
The school’s early years programme is designed to be a fun and enjoyable experience for children aged three to five. It is centred around building strong foundations and instilling a lifelong love for learning, with teachers using animations, stories, interactive games, and hands-on experiments to spark the children’s curiosity and encourage them to express themselves.
The primary school programme is based on the UK’s national curriculum. At Key Stage 1 (ages 6 to 7), students expand on the foundations they have gained in their early years, improving on their English literacy, mathematical skills, and scientific knowledge.
As they move on to Key Stage 2 (ages 7 to 12), they learn to develop effective communication and writing skills, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and continue to nurture their sense of curiosity about the world at large. These skill sets ensure students transition seamlessly to Secondary School (ages 12 to 16), where they’ll solve more complex and challenging tasks, as well as build their creativity, logical, and critical-thinking skills.
The school offers a diverse range of subjects so that students may explore their passions and interests. Guided by experienced teachers, students are well-prepared to excel in their International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations.

In today’s globalised world, digital skills are no longer a nice-to-have, but a prerequisite for many careers.
Understanding this importance, King’s International School empowers its students by creating an interactive, digital-first environment–equipping students with the necessary knowledge they need for future success.
Computing is offered as a subject at both the primary and secondary levels. Students also enjoy access to facilities such as a computer laboratory. Meanwhile, smart TVs are used as a teaching tool, helping educators to break down complex topics and make lessons more accessible and stimulating.
Additionally, the school has its own interactive learning portal, where students can review lessons they may have missed and access learning materials outside of school hours. Activities are gamified, making it much more engaging than the traditional ‘chalk and talk’ approach.
Aside from technology, educators employ various innovative teaching methods and instructional strategies, including inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and experiential learning. The goal is to nurture students who are keen to explore and ask questions, rather than passively receive knowledge, and who can apply their knowledge in practical contexts.
Complementing the school’s academic programmes are co-curricular activities that encourage diverse modes of expression, helping students to become more confident. The school campus is accordingly equipped with modern facilities to support the student’s learning – from science labs, a gym, and art studios, to a well-stocked library, music room, and more.
For students who are transitioning from different educational systems, King’s International School offers support through orientation programmes that acquaint new students and system pairs newcomers with seasoned students who can offer guidance and friendship.
The school conducts academic assessments so they can better tailor education to the individual student’s needs, while language support programmes aid those transitioning into an English-language environment.
The school’s curriculum also reflects its international stance, integrating global perspectives across subjects such as literature, history, and social studies. Exchange programmes offer students firsthand experiences in cross-cultural understanding, while model United Nations and debate clubs provide platforms where students can engage in discussion and propose solutions to real-world problems.
At the community level, the school fosters a strong sense of community by involving students, parents, and local organisations in school activities and projects. This engagement helps students develop a sense of responsibility and leadership – qualities that are essential for personal growth – and builds students to make a positive impact on the world.
