Kitakids Preschool is a preschool that is strategically located within the brand new Plaza Damas 3 in Sri Hartamas.
As I arrived and looked around, I was quite surprised at the amazing view to be had from my vantage point just outside Kitakids Preschool. In front of me lay the Yang Dipertuan Agung’s palace and its grounds in all its majesty. It was such a wonderful sight that I had to take a few seconds to catch my breath.

Question: “Judging by the success of Kitakids Preschool in Bangsar, you have obviously been able to deliver a holistic preschool education to its discerning populace. Why did it take you so long to bring your brand of preschool education to Sri Hartamas? And why Sri Hartamas?”
Answer: “Just like an infant learning to roll over and lift his head or a toddler taking his first tentative steps, we wanted to ensure that the foundation upon which our preschool, our programmes and our philosophy is based upon is solid yet flexible enough to embrace changes and conform to present day requirements. As we needed time to put all the critical mechanisms in place, it is only now that we have ventured outside of Bangsar. And to answer your second question - Sri Hartamas is a strategic site as it is located very close to the intersection of four major expressways that link the area with downtown Kuala Lumpur and its surrounding suburbs. Additionally, Sri Hartamas is a great suburb with many families with young children,” said Ms. Aqilah Che Azizudin, Director of Kitakids Malaysia.

Recognising that learning is not confined to the four walls of the classroom, Kitakids Preschool places equal emphasis on activities that are not confined to the classrooms. But having children that are as young as 3 and 4 years old, Kitakids Preschool has coined an activity which they call ‘incursion’ whereby the activities that would normally require the children to venture outside their classrooms are invited onto the premises or into the classrooms. Via this ‘incursion’ method, Kitakids Preschool has brought a petting zoo, policemen, doctors and nurses plus airline pilots and attendants into their classrooms to engage the children and enrich their learning experience.
