Since 2016, KindyHaus Baby & Child Care Centre, Kota Damansara was established with the aim of providing a growing environment for babies and toddlers. The play school’s founder and principal started the centre because she enjoys working with children and has many relevant years of experience in the field too.
The centre caters to children from two months old to four years old, and it focuses not only on academic development, but also believes in developing self-help and cognitive skills of the children. There are weekly plans in place and children are exposed to different activities daily.
It is the centre’s belief that every child is different, and should not be judged or compared to others in their milestones. Thus, each child is being nurtured differently to bring out the best in their toddler developmental years. Two main aspects remain the focus and priority of the centre – instilling good discipline and health in the children.
The business owner is particular about the food intake and goes the extra mile to provide nutritional meals for the kids. Each week, she personally shops for the groceries for the upcoming menu that will be prepared by the in-house cook.
An example of some of the food included in the menu are pancakes made from scratch, fruit milkshakes and smoothies, veggie pasta, oatmeal with peach and apricot, and the usual staple of porridge and rice with vegetable dishes.
Routine wise, the kids have their regular meal and napping times, and activities and play in between. The set-up is very much a safe, comfortable, and cozy second-home to the children. To ensure the safety of the young children, the centre is equipped with safety gates, table corner protection strips, first aid kit, etc.
KindyHaus is also well staffed with certified teachers with early childhood background and registered nurses to take care of the children’s needs. They regularly attend courses to upgrade their service levels and have relevant certificates of qualifications.
Parents will be updated by the teachers on the child’s progress via a mobile app, where there will be photos to share, update on menu, nap times, etc. Parents are also invited to join some of the celebrations and events that the centre has from time to time.
As a play school that prepares the children for kindergarten, the children will learn some basic academic skills. At two years old, they start learning to hold pencils to write and colour. By the time they are three to four years of age, they are able to write their alphabets and more ready to move on to kindergarten.
KindyHaus has all the elements that give parents the greatest peace of mind when their little ones are put in their care. They are in an environment that’s just like a home, whilst the teachers and nurses are there to ensure they are well taken care of. These toddler growing years are important for a child to have a good foundation built in them and KindyHaus hopes to work hand-in-hand with parents to help with their children’s growing years.
