Celebration with Gifts Built to Last: LEGO® Mother’s Day Pop-Up Charms Families at Sunway Pyramid

by on 15/05/2025 179

This past weekend, Sunway Pyramid came alive with creativity, colour, and heartfelt moments as The LEGO Group hosted its delightful LEGO® Botanicals Mother’s Day Pop-Up from 9 to 12 May 2025. Held outside the LEGO Certified Store at LG1.120C Oasis, this special celebration was a vibrant tribute to mothers, grandmothers, and all the incredible women who inspire love and care in our lives.

From customisable LEGO bouquets to hands-on activities that sparked joy in every visitor, the pop-up proved to be more than just a shopping experience — it was a weekend of connection, play, and thoughtful gifting.

A Fresh Take on Mother’s Day Gifting

Forget fleeting flowers — LEGO’s Botanical Collection brought a new dimension to floral gifts with builds that are both beautiful and lasting. Visitors were charmed by the intricacy and elegance of these floral-themed sets, with options like the LEGO® Flower Bouquet, Wildflower Bouquet, Bouquet of Roses, and more offering something for every aesthetic.

Not only were these builds gorgeous, but they were also interactive, allowing families to co-create a special gift that felt deeply personal and meaningful.

Highlights that Touched the Heart

1. Free Flower Hour Giveaway

One of the most heartwarming moments of the weekend was the Free Flower Hour, held at 3PM on 10 and 11 May. Lucky visitors received a complimentary 40460 LEGO Rose Stalk — a small yet stunning gesture of appreciation, perfect for gifting the special women in their lives. The long queue was a testament to how cherished these thoughtful giveaways were.

2. Petal to Vase Redemption

Shoppers who spent RM199 or more on any LEGO Botanical set were treated to a delightful “Petal to Vase” experience. They could personalise their own floral masterpiece with six LEGO flowers, three LEGO leaves, and three fresh blooms, presented in a stylish paper vase — a ready-to-gift arrangement that was both creative and sentimental. Many families were seen collaborating to craft their perfect bouquet, making memories along the way.

3. Make & Take Activities

From 10 to 12 May, the pop-up hosted Make & Take Activities, where families could build and bring home their very own LEGO Rose & Daisy set. The activity was a hit with children and parents alike, giving them a chance to slow down, build together, and share a quiet, joyful moment amid the bustling mall.

A Crowd-Pleasing Experience

The event attracted a steady stream of families, LEGO fans, and curious shoppers. What truly made the pop-up special was its blend of fun, interactivity, and heartfelt emotion. The pop-up served as a reminder that gifts with personal effort and love are always the most meaningful — and LEGO managed to capture that spirit beautifully.

Building Memories That Last

As families left the pop-up with flower stalks in hand, custom vases in tow, and smiles on their faces, it was clear that LEGO’s vision of "gifts built to last" had struck a chord. More than just toys, these builds became tokens of affection, made all the more special by the moments shared in their creation.

Whether it was a child crafting a bouquet for their mum or a couple building something beautiful together, the LEGO Botanicals Mother’s Day Pop-Up succeeded in bringing people closer — one brick, one bloom, and one memory at a time.
