Not only are they polite and well mannered, but the children are also curious and keen to explore, judging from how they greeted this writer during her visit, and the way in which they asked questions.

Language is a crucial part of the programme and is one of 3Q MRC Putra Prima’s strengths. Each day, children learn subjects like Science and Mathematics in English during the morning session, and then review these subjects in Mandarin in the afternoon. This ensures they build strong foundational skills in both languages, setting them up for success in primary schools, especially for children going to Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) schools.
Character building and social skills
3Q MRC Putra Prima doesn’t just focus on academics—it emphasises values that help children become compassionate, responsible individuals. Daily routines encourage positive behaviour through activities such as clean-up time after meals and role-playing, where they learn values such as sharing, kindness, and respect.
This extends beyond the classroom, as the school organises field trips to places such as mini zoos and aquariums, allowing children to gain knowledge about different animals, as well as love for the environment and the planet.
These trips may also tie into themes that they have learned in school - for example, they may visit a recycling centre as part of a recycling campaign, or an old folks home in relation to the theme of respecting one’s elders.

The full-day programme at 3Q MRC Putra Prima includes a balanced schedule of learning, naptime, and activities. Children may explore their interests through enrichment activities, such as ukulele classes and arts and crafts. Teachers also help with individual homework support, and strengthen any areas where the children may need extra help in.
As for updating parents, 3Q MRC Putra Prima encourages open and transparent communication, where parents are free to discuss their child’s progress and share their feedback even outside of the regular parent-teacher meetings.
