Also known as Rumah Insaniah Dr. Siti Hasmah (Sheltered Workshop) which provides vocational training for persons with Physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities and hearing impairment ages 17 to 40 years. The center comprises hostels providing accommodation for 60 disabled persons and a sheltered workshop providing work and training for the disabled. The Society has provided training, productive work, subsidized accommodation and board for several hundred disabled persons over the years. Many disabled persons have been helped to acquire skill and ability sufficient to find employment in the general community. Such reintegration into society is the ultimate aim for the disabled person. As part of our effort to improve the quality of life, the Society has promoted sporting activities for the disabled. The Society introduced wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis and more recently archery. The Society organized Sports Championships for the disabled in co-operation with other voluntary bodies and has helped the disabled to take part and excel in competitions both in Malaysia and abroad.
