The elementary school at Oasis International School - Kuala Lumpur is designed for our youngest students to build a strong foundation of knowledge, critical thinking skills, and leadership ability.
The elementary school is organized by grade level and has a maximum capacity of 15 students per class in Kindergarten and 25 students per class in 1st through 5th grade. Every class is taught by elementary school teachers with U.S. teaching certificates.
In addition to having qualified and caring teachers, OIS also offers a personalized learning experience and uses a holistic approach. In each elementary class at OIS, teachers use differentiation to meet the needs of each individual student. In addition, OIS focuses on various dimensions of a child as part of its holistic approach. For social development, OIS provides opportunities both in the classroom and outside the school walls for students to learn how to develop healthy friendship skills, social values, and empathy.
