Toddler Town International Preschool is an early learning and early intervention provider offering first-rate early childhood education inclusive programmes for children aged between 3 months to 6 years old.
Situated in Plaza Mont Kiara and in KL Sentral, Toddler Town seeks to create an environment that provides children with not only opportunities that promote school readiness, but also proper stimulations that promote the learning of kindness, feelings, respect for one another and resilience by example - through repetition by copying those around them. All the classes are filled with children who have a wide range of abilities, and most teachers and therapists try to create an environment in which all children thrive.
Early childhood education plays an important role in shaping the type of person the individual child will become. Thus, every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential.
All lead teachers are required to have a degree in early childhood education. They are carefully selected based on their education, previous teaching experience, ability to bond and effectively communicate with their students. Above all, the team of educators love the early childhood profession and have a strong, positive curiosity about life that sparks confidence and joy in those around them.
The preschool offers a nurturing learning environment where children can learn, explore and play. It draws on a blend of the best teaching approaches, Reggio Emilia, Montessori and Waldorf, to help children gain rich experiences in all areas of early development.
The curriculum is guided by themes that are based on the children’s interests. They work on in-depth projects exploring broad areas of learning, including Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (S.T.E.A.M.).
Instead of just sitting down and listening, the teachers emphasise the importance of children to acquire knowledge by “doing”. This method assists children building life skills. As they work together, they pick up attributes like thinking on one’s own and conflict resolution. Throughout the whole educational journey, teachers gently guide children every step of the way to achieve important milestones to be school and life ready.
Although children learn primarily through play, it is also important to plan areas for large-group meetings or activities. Our classroom layouts are specifically designed to encourage learning, improve engagement and support positive classroom behaviours.
It's important to think from a child’s point of view. For a preschool child, this might mean knowing where and how to sit, where to focus attention and what to do. Nametags, seat cushions and mats or other simple markers can help define children’s individual space within the group.

In today’s world, general knowledge is critical for children growth and success. It is especially important for children to learn beyond the classroom. Toddler Town always keep in mind that a child’s success depends on how much they are learning from their surroundings.
Learning is about experiencing and understanding what goes around you from a rational perspective. For the best retention, teachers provide the learning in such a way that it is interesting, fun and simple.
During our Discovery Fridays children can explore a topic of choice and build their very own encyclopaedic experience to make sense of the world around us. On top of that, they celebrate festive occasions as well, learning more about the different cultures in our community and their celebrations.
