Child-Centred Environment
Founded more than 20 years ago, Tadika Yume needs no introduction - an early learning institute offering educational programmes that seamlessly blend National Preschool Syllabus and the Montessori Education. Conveniently situated in a Jalan Anggerik Oncidium neighbourhood, in the brick bungalow on a spacious leafy corner lot, Tadika Yume endeavours to provide a structured, safe, and loving environment for young learners between the ages of 24 months to 6 years old.
Each child is born with different challenges and developmental needs. Recognising this, the softly-spoken founder, Madam Pamela Phang ensures that academic programmes at Yume are taught based upon the abilities and interest of each learner - one that acknowledges the developmental needs of each child. Through this child-centred environment, children at Yume are conditioned to learn through experience and discovery; in tandem with the philosophies of the Montessori Method of education.
Academic & Social Learning
The curriculum at Yume is designed to help children achieve school readiness in all areas of academic and social learning; ensuring children are able to have joyful and meaningful learning experiences that lead to success in school and in life. Tadika Yume writes and prints its own range of workbooks. "Doing this allows us to maintain the high standards and quality of the contents and materials," explains Madam Phang.
In addition to academics, there are organised excursions and trips to places of interest, giving children educational experiences away from their regular school environment. An array of challenging and fun enrichment activities are also available to enrolled children. The following subjects and enrichment activities are offered:

Tadika Yume is made up of a talented and nurturing team of dedicated early childhood educators. Most of whom have been with Tadika Yume since day one, and some as long as 20 years. The majority hold college degrees with extensive experience in early childhood education; ready to collaborate to create a stimulating and joyful classroom; devoting their best efforts to developing the whole child.
A dedicated educator is one who's willing to be everything to every student. One has to be a teacher, a mentor, a friend and even a substitute parent. In Tadika Yume, one will find all of them here - the teacher, the mentor, the friend and the substitute parent. "I am truly grateful to my staff and I am humbled whenever I think about their years of dedication and single-mindedness in nurturing each and every student……," said Madam Phang, chuffed to bits with true appreciation in her voice.
Environment That Supports Children's Exploration
The principal and her team constantly strive to ensure that facilities and routines at Tadika Yume are able to provide a secure environment in which children can learn and develop to their full potential. Classrooms are spacious, well lit, airy; filled with enriching child-centred materials and colourful furnishings. The outdoor area is filled with play equipment; a fenced-in space where children can enjoy a large, well-equipped, playground and their very own pool for water play.
