Special needs children should be able to get quality curriculum and proper support similar to their neurotypical peers. With that in mind, we’d like to help parents that need to introduce their children to intensive therapies and intervention programs with our list of best special needs centre in Malaysia for children dealing with autism, speech delays, ADHD, learning difficulties and developmental delays among others.

Alisther Rehabilitation & Intervention Centre, located in the lush suburbs of Bukit Jalil, is a one stop, multidisciplinary intervention centre that provides support to children and adults diagnosed with special needs all across the spectrum. The centre is registered with Allied Health to conduct intervention services to children aged ranging from 2 to 12 years old, with the end goal of achieving integration back to society.
Alisther continues to champion early intervention to overcome parental stigma towards their child with developmental conditions such as Autism, ADHD, GDD, among others through awareness campaigns. The centre provides a wide array of programmes including, early intervention programme, speech therapy, occupational therapy, behaviour therapy, individualised intervention plan, sensory developmental enhancement, social skills intervention and living skills programme.
Apple King Special Education Centre, Sungai Chua provides special needs services for children who have, or are at risk of having, a developmental delay or disability. Services cater to children aged three years and above. Through screening, assessment and direct intervention, they aim to help families best care for their children.They address a broad spectrum of specialty areas, including but not limited to: autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental delays. Aspire Inclusive Community is a special needs education centre that prioritises inclusive education for children from diverse backgrounds. Founded in 2020, the centre has a comprehensive programme that prepares students for an independent future. Small class sizes facilitate personalised learning, while collaboration with families and therapists ensure comprehensive support. With a focus on inclusivity and practical skills, Aspire fosters confidence and purpose in its students. Children are taught basic living skills such as doing their laundry and handling money, and they also learn vocational skills such as cooking. Academically, the centre uses the Eduseed curriculum to help ready students who wish to take their IGSCE, in addition to elective courses like computer classes, robotics, arts, and crafts.
Established in 2016, ABC (Autism Behavioral Center) is an ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) therapy centre, offering quality individualised curriculum 1:1 intensive therapy to children and teenagers with most learning challenges including autism, ADHD, GDD, speech delays, social & behavioral challenges, starting as young as 18 months old. Conveniently situated in the Bangunan Bangsaria along the main arteries of Jalan Maarof in Bangsar, ABC is the largest centre offering ABA therapy in Malaysia. On top of that, they are the only therapy centre to date, that's fully equipped with a one-to-one room for all children; totalling 45 individual rooms!

Its facilities include an indoor playground, CCTV for safety, and flexible classrooms to provide a comfortable and engaging environment. HappyLand is a multidisciplinary therapy centre for children and adults with disabilities or delays in their development. The centre strives to provide hope by offering services in a stress-free, playful environment that enables the individual to maximize his or her full potential. As each child is unique with very specific needs, Happyland embraces these differences with an understanding that individualised programmes work more effectively. For 18 years, Happyland’s highly trained team has supported hundreds of children with challenges such as autism, ADHD, sensory integration disorders and Asperger Syndrome. Oasis Place is a transdisciplinary practice which involves a team of experienced therapists working together to address a range of limitations and developmental delays in children and adults. The Gifted Kids Care Centre, Subang Jaya is an extension of Pine Hills International School that provides academic and therapy support for students with special needs. It caters for children with various disabilities, aged 3 to 10 years. The main aim is to empower students to move past their learning obstacles so they can transfer into mainstream schooling and be able to cope, academically and socially.
They address a broad spectrum of specialty areas, including but not limited to: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, language processing disorder, global developmental delay and children who have difficulties adapting to mainstream classes.
It is important for parents to note that the longer they wait to address their child’s learning disabilities, the more complicated things may become. The Integrative Academy (TIA) is a children’s special educational needs centre in Plaza Arkadia, situated within the serene Desa ParkCity township. They offer learning programmes for kids with special needs from age 3 to 15 years.
The centre offers two holistic programmes: The Early Intervention Program (3-6 years), and the Primary Home School Program (7 to 15 years). Students who join will be nurtured to develop their social & academic skills, sensory integration & physical skills, life skills, and play & cognition.
