Special needs children should be able to get quality curriculum and proper support similar to their neurotypical peers. With that in mind, we’d like to help parents that need to introduce their children to intensive therapies and intervention programs with our list of best special needs centre in Malaysia for children dealing with autism, speech delays, ADHD, learning difficulties and developmental delays among others.

Active Special Needs is an innovative gym programme that represents a pioneering effort in Malaysia to provide tailored physical activity for special needs children aged three to 10 years old. Alisther Intervention & Rehabilitation Centre is a beacon of hope for children with developmental conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and GDD. Founded in 2018 by Ms. Aliaa Azura and Ms. Aicezsther, the centre provides tailored, holistic programmes designed to meet each child’s unique needs, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and early intervention programmes. With a multidisciplinary team of specialists, evidence-based practices, and state-of-the-art facilities, Alisther fosters academic, social, and life skills to empower children and prepare them for integration into mainstream society.
Apple King Special Education Centre, Sungai Chua provides special needs services for children who have, or are at risk of having, a developmental delay or disability. Services cater to children aged three years and above. Through screening, assessment and direct intervention, they aim to help families best care for their children.They address a broad spectrum of specialty areas, including but not limited to: autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental delays. No matter how challenging the hurdle is, treatment is customised for each child based on their unique needs and is provided in a non-stressful, positive environment.
Apple King Special Education Centre, Sungai Chua, Kajang
Established in 2016, ABC (Autism Behavioral Center) is an ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) therapy centre, offering quality individualised curriculum 1:1 intensive therapy to children and teenagers with most learning challenges including autism, ADHD, GDD, speech delays, social & behavioral challenges, starting as young as 18 months old. Conveniently situated in the Bangunan Bangsaria along the main arteries of Jalan Maarof in Bangsar, ABC is the largest centre offering ABA therapy in Malaysia. On top of that, they are the only therapy centre to date, that’s fully equipped with a one-to-one room for all children; totalling 45 individual rooms!
With consultants that are highly qualified and trained extensively in ABA, Autism and SPED in general, ABC strives to be a home grown name in terms of ABA therapy and Autism support in the near future.
Autism Behavioral Center (ABC), Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur
AvidAscent Enrichment Centre is a one-stop multidisciplinary therapy centre for special needs children and adults. The centre creates enriching experiences for students, addressing their educational needs by understanding their individual learning styles and creating a safe space where they can learn and interact with their peers. The School Age Programme, available for students aged 7 to 14, balances academic and non-academic skills, where students learn language skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as non-verbal skills through classes like music and movement, physical education, and more. Therapy services such as occupational therapy and speech therapy are also available, conducted by trained professionals.
HappyLand is a multidisciplinary therapy centre for children and adults with disabilities or delays in their development. The centre strives to provide hope by offering services in a stress-free, playful environment that enables the individual to maximize his or her full potential. As each child is unique with very specific needs, Happyland embraces these differences with an understanding that individualised programmes work more effectively. The main focus lies in collaborating with parents, educators and other allied professionals to make a positive difference.
For 18 years, Happyland’s highly trained team has supported hundreds of children with challenges such as autism, ADHD, sensory integration disorders and Asperger Syndrome. Many children may have the same overall diagnoses, but they differ vastly in their levels of ability or presentation. For this reason, it is important to pay a visit to the centre and meet the team so that they can come up with an individually tailored programme to overcome unique challenges. Therapy recommendations will be given after a full evaluation is conducted in person.
Miles Autism Academy is one-stop service centre specialising in providing official diagnosis service, treatments & interventions and special needs daycare service for individuals with autism or other special needs. Its core team consists of members with a range of 8 to 15 years of extensive experience working with this community, including an on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure the highest quality of services provided to all families.
Seed Connections Child and Family Psychology and Learning Center, Bukit Jalil offers psychological and learning services for children and teens, focusing on emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. Key programmes include Early Intervention (Inclusive Learning Club) for children aged 3 to 7, Play Therapy for emotional expression, Brain Builders to enhance executive functioning, and Social Playgroups to foster peer connections. The centre conducts comprehensive assessments and tailors learning support to individual needs. Its team of dedicated professionals ensures psychological safety and collaborates with families through coaching and workshops.

Envisioning an ideal society where people with special needs are able to enjoy every aspect of life equal to any other person, SI World provides individualized therapies to children with special needs depending on their needs after a thorough assessment.
With multiple branches all over Malaysia, the school aims to be accessible and supportive to every families, with individual parents training provided to further help the children at home. SI World also offers “Backup Education” for children that are not could not cope with traditional kindergartens or schools.
Some of the therapies provided by SI World are Sensory Integration Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech Therapy, conducted by their highly trained therapists.
