From programmes to teachers, Choo Choo Train’s approach to early childhood education inspires a love of learning. Infant & Baby Development Programme (0-12 Months Old)

“I am small but I have big potentials!”

The first year of a child’s life is a time of rapid growth and discovery. Choo Choo Train’s Infant & Baby Development Program is designed to nurture emotional connections, sensory exploration, and physical development. It is divided into two levels:

• a) Choo Choo Cuddle (0-6 months):
  

  This program is perfect for babies who are starting to do things on their own and becoming more independent from their mothers. They will enjoy gentle activities such as massage, sensory stimulation, and early social interactions. Through activities such as Baby Zen, Baby Touch, Baby Gaze Baby Music, and Baby Gym, babies wil be able to move better, explore their senses, and build strong emotional connections.

• b) Choo Choo Explorer 1 (7-12 months):
  

  For little ones at this stage, it’s all about discovering their bodies and what they can do. The programme focuses on helping develop important physical skills such as crawling and standing, in addition to honing early language skills through storytelling, communication, and reading to the toddlers. Lessons included are Tots Talker, Tots Thinker, Tots Doodles, Tots Gym and Messy Tots.

Toddler I Playgroup Program (13-24 months)

“I am creative and imaginative!”

Toddlers are natural explorers, and this program is designed to harness their curiosity while developing essential skills. Learning through two levels in the program:

• a) Choo Choo Explorer 2 (13-18 months):
  

  As toddlers become better at moving around, the programme expands its activities to include walking, hopping, and running within a safe environment. Additionally, they are provided with materials and toys, as well as activities to help them develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills, whilst improving their communication and comprehension of languages.

• b) Choo Choo Explorer 3 (19-24 months):
  

  Children at this stage will have greater physical capabilities, so the programme will focus on nurturing them to become better communicators, guiding them to socialise, make friends, express themselves in different ways, and being kind and helpful to one another. They are introduced to structured learning in areas such as language, maths, and science. The children will also be toilet trained, taking a positive step towards independence. The lessons included are Tots Talker, Tots Thinker, Tots Doodles, Tots Gym, Messy Tots, and Tasty Tots is added in the mix.

Toddler II Playgroup Program (25-36 months)

“I am communicative and responsible!”

Play is the best way for toddlers to learn! Our themed monthly lesson plans, aligned with international standards, spark curiosity and make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful.

Nursery Exploration Program (36-48 months)

“I am sociable and independent!”

This pre-kindergarten program focuses on preparing children for formal schooling by developing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and socialisation.

• Choo Choo Quest:
  

  This program nurtures critical thinking and problem-solving in a fun and secure environment. Children explore how things work through exciting science experiments, engage in early literacy, and develop basic math skills like counting and adding. With hands-on learning, they build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for future school success. Activities are the level 2 of Early Language Lab-English, Early Maths Adventure, Early Science Sparks, Early Self and Society, Early Art and Creations, Early Health and Exercise, Water Play, Sand Play, and Fun with Food.

Certified & Qualified Educators

Here, the carers and teachers are certified by the National Institute of Child Care and Education (NICCE). Choo Choo Train's own specialised institute, NICCE, has been approved and recognised by the Malaysian government. The centre uses both academic teachers and carers for its childcare services. Academic instructors concentrate on the program's learning and developmental components, while carers are exclusively in charge of the kids' health and safety. Before they can care for children on their own, carers must also complete a month of physical training.

Daily Nutritious & Delicious Meals

Choo Choo Train takes great pride in its nutritious meals provided at each centre. A registered nutritionist carefully curates the food menus to make sure kids eat meals that are age-appropriate and well-balanced. Rather than purchasing in bulk from wet markets, they source goods from reliable grocery stores with halal certification, prioritising quality over quantity and using fresh foods on a regular basis. Meal preparation and making sure the food is fresh and cooked correctly fall within the purview of supervisors.

Professional Child Care SOP

Health and safety are always of top priority for Choo Choo Train. Parents can count on their professional team for the most reliable child care in the local community while they are at work. Choo Choo Train goes above and beyond to maintain their high standards, as well as meet the government’s licensing requirements for child care centres. Their amazing team comprises qualified nurses and early childhood educators who are CPR and first aid certified. As always, pandemic or not, teachers and staff go through extensive training on health and safety practices. Every Choo Choo Train centre goes through routine evaluation to ensure quality is retained and improved where necessary.
