The curriculum and programmes at Beyond Kids Montessori are extremely well planned and coordinated. It starts from the Toddler Programme for those aged two years right up to the Kindergarten Programme for children aged five to six years old. They also follow the primary school syllabus (KSSR) closely in order to prepare their students for primary school. In addition, Beyond Kids Montessori offers after-school care services for ages two to six years. 

Toddler Programme (2 Years Old)

The Toddler Programme is designed to help little ones feel safe to explore the world around them. It is centred around the belief that children learn best through hands-on experiences across a balanced mix of playtime, learning and nurturing care. Themed monthly units provide a variety of daily experiences that cover learning areas such as dramatic play, language, sensory exploration, mathematics and creative arts. These age-appropriate activities are geared towards fostering confidence, self-esteem and an enthusiasm for learning in each child.

Preschool Programme (3 Years Old)

As children reach the age of three, they begin to demonstrate their independence, and the Preschool Programme guides them towards a world of exploring, learning and sharing. It engages young learners with a blend of early learning fundamentals, dramatic play, music and art to promote well-rounded growth. In small group ratios, teachers also emphasize good character building in children.

Pre-Kindergarten Programme (4 Years Old)

During the pre-kindergarten stage, children are learning to connect what they already know with new information they acquire. Kindergarten Programme (5 to 6 Years Old)

The Kindergarten Programme helps prepare children for primary school by providing them with a comprehensive and academically rich programme that encourages exploration, communication and creativity in a supportive class setting. The curriculum includes reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and physical fitness to provide holistic development. On top of that, the programme integrates educational field trips into the curriculum to build upon classroom learning.

Great emphasis is put on the importance of training for the teachers at Beyond Kids Montessori. Besides conducting in-house training, external trainers from diverse fields such as classroom management and mastering phonics are invited to enhance the team’s knowledge and skills. They are also sent to training and refresher courses organised periodically by the Ministry of Education.

An integral aspect of education today is the well-being and safety of the children. CCTVs are installed in every area throughout the kindergarten. Plus, Beyond Kids Montessori has very strict regulations in regard to the drop off and pick up procedures of the children. Good hygiene is also stressed upon, and each student’s temperature is checked and recorded daily before classes begin and their little hands are also sanitized before entering the kindergarten.
