Established in 2016, ABC (Autism Behavioral Center) is a premium ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) therapy centre; the largest ABA centre in Malaysia, offering quality individualised curriculum and support for children and teenagers of various age-groups who are affected with autism and learning difficulties or children who are at risk of autism.
ABA is short for Applied Behaviour Analysis - a system of autism treatment conducted based on the science of learning and behaviour; one that teaches desired behaviours through a system of rewards and consequences. The therapy focuses on the principles that explain how learning takes place. Positive reinforcement is one such principle. The goal of ABA therapy is to increase behaviours that are helpful and decrease behaviours that are harmful or affect learning.
ABC really stresses early intervention, because that would make such a big difference to the development of the individual affected with autism. We understood that autism is a spectrum disorder; that every child is unique and different.- Ms Charlene, Director and Case Supervisor of ABC. Ms Charlene has been working with individuals in the spectrum in Malaysia for more than a decade.
Programmes at ABC are individualised for each child. The main objective of these programmes is to ensure that they are able to learn the skills s/he'll need to go back to school and the community.

Training is conducted using the Pennsylvania training and technical assistance network (PaTTAN) technology that was developed in the U.S.A. Families can pin their hopes on ABC's drive and motivation to make our society more open and inclusive.
Therapists at ABC are all experienced, trained and certified in Psychology, Education, Special Needs or in related fields. Newly hired therapists will undergo further specialised training for a total of 200 hours where they will be trained by team trainers, before being assigned to children for ABA therapy.
