3Q MRC Tadika Junior Harmoni, Nilai is committed to providing the best possible introduction to learning for children who are 2 to 6 years old. Opened 20 years ago, the kindergarten promotes a safe and stimulating environment enabling children to grow in confidence as individuals and gather the knowledge to excel in primary school and life. They do this through providing a creative and fun play-based curriculum called the 3Q system. It is a proven education system that utilises effective tools to foster vital development of the whole brain. The programmes stimulate both the left and the right brain, training children to make decisions, solve problems and balance emotions.

Learning Starts When Children Are Having Fun

From the first day up until graduation, the early years’ experience at 3Q MRC Junior is a happy, active and fun one. The curriculum covers vast areas of learning and are incorporated into themes that unify the experience for children.

The days are always bustling with activities. In the classroom, there is an emphasis on learning with a mixture of workbooks and materials. It is full of items, toys and real objects that are designed to spark children’s natural curiosity and learn about the world through play and interacting with friends. Children learn about colours, transportation, festivals, basic language and numeracy concepts, as well as important life values including respect, manners, sharing, compassion and regulating their own emotions.

As sunlight and fresh air are also essential ingredients for children’s healthy growth, there are organized sessions in the timetable to include outside activities, gardening, outings and field trips. These experiences are natural tools to help children understand the larger world around them while building stronger gross motor skills.

Close attention is paid to children’s individual strengths and needs. Teachers plan lessons and match teaching strategies to nurture those unique abilities. With the help and guidance of skilled teachers, children will grow into individuals who have the ability to solve real-life problems and are valued for their distinct intelligences – linguistic, logic-mathematical, musical, spatial, bodily/kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic and existential.

Teachers are carefully chosen for the skills, experiences and attributes that they possess. They participate in training sessions every 2 to 3 months in order to update their skills and deliver the best practices. They strongly believe that families’ involvement is important and highly contributes to children’s development and educational success. Hence, they work collaboratively with parents and keep them updated at all times on their children’s progress through parent-teacher discussions and a mobile application.
