It’s easy to spot 3Q MRC Junior Bangi. Nestled within a quiet residential area, the building’s vibrant yellow and green colours, a signature of the 3Q MRC brand, stand out amidst a sea of uniform terrace houses–a reflection of the fun and engaging learning experiences that await children who are enrolled at this school.
The central pillar at 3Q MRC is their 3Q™ system, a fun and creative play-based curriculum that utilises effective study tools to synchronise both left and right brain development. This aids in multiple areas of a child’s development, from decision making and problem solving to emotional regulation.
3Q MRC’s comprehensive curriculum spans multiple approaches and techniques to make learning engaging and fun, whilst still preparing the children for academic studies.
Emphasis is placed on the major languages used in Malaysia, namely English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin. Tools such as puzzles, stories, scrapbooking, flashcards, and flazzle cards (matching pictures with words) are used to help students build solid foundations in all three subjects and achieve proficiency.
Subjects such as Mathematics and Science are also taught, while creativity and emotional development is cultivated through musical and art activities such as beading. Circle Time encourages children to interact with one another and enhance their cooperation skills.

New to the syllabus is 3Q MRC’s Augmented Reality (AR) Programme, a learning app that enhances various parts of the learning experience with fun and interactive 3D elements. As part of the MRC E-Mode Learning Programme, AR helps children to visualise better while gaining new knowledge.
For example, textbook content and images are displayed as real-life objects in the environment when viewed through the app, with the addition of other visual and audio elements.
Children at 3Q MRC are not just exposed to studies but also other areas of development and growth. They are taught important moral values such as respect, good habits and manners, compassion, as well as how to regulate their emotions.
Teachers pay close attention to a child’s individual strengths and needs, planning their lessons accordingly to nurture their unique abilities.
Parents are kept updated on their child’s progress via the Mamapapa App, which is specifically designed by the SMM Education Group (3Q MRC’s parent company). Here, they will be able to conveniently check their child’s attendance and updates on upcoming events.
A healthy body is essential for good learning, which is why the school has spacious areas for outdoor physical activities such as exercise and gardening, which help to build strong gross motor skills. Meanwhile, field trips allow them to understand more about the environment and the outside world.
3Q MRC Junior Bangi promotes a safe and stimulating environment for toddlers and children, where they can grow confidently into outstanding individuals. A balance of both play and academics ensures they have room to play and explore at their own pace, whilst not neglecting the formal educational aspects so they will be prepared when moving on to primary education.
