Maple Leaf Kingsley International School started school operation in September 2011, setting the momentum for the establishment of the Kingsley Education Group. The new campus is strategically situated at Kingsley Hills and commenced operation in September 2015. Surrounded by lush green and offering a breathe-taking sight of the city sky-line of Kuala Lumpur, it also offers a healthy and clean studying environment with its location far from industrial and city areas.
In Maple Leaf Kingsley Primary School we provide a broad and complete education in a fun, lively approach to learning, based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales. We build on skills and knowledge students should acquire by the end of Key Stage 2 in order to facilitate their learning in Key Stage 3. We believe that learning with us produces well-mannered, holistic and well-balanced individuals who are passionate and responsible toward themselves, school. community and the nation.
The secondary school focuses on 2 main goals:
1) Equipping the students with necessary skills and knowledge in preparation for their IGCSE Cambridge O level examination in Year 11
2) Molding the students’ characters and charisma
In order to achieve these goals, our lessons are interactive and engaging through different teaching methods such as discussions, pair work, presentations, debates, seminars, dialogue, research works, projects, field trips/ excursions and hands-on activities. Besides that, we also gear towards building the students’ characters through community services, team building activities and mentor-mentee programme.
