Programme hours

Infant (3 months- 1 ½ years old)

During infancy, young minds enthusiastically absorb their surroundings. My Little Compass integrates Montessori and play-based approaches to establish a comprehensive foundation in their infant programme. Montessori's emphasis on individual progress is evident in the customized environment, fostering confidence through early autonomy. Play-based learning complements this, promoting curiosity and interaction. Sensory experiences further align with Montessori's principles, nurturing cognitive growth through hands-on engagement.

Toddler (1 ½- 3 years old)

During the toddler years, curiosity fuels rapid growth as young minds explore. My Little Compass combines Montessori and play-based methods for an engaging toddler programme. Montessori principles empower independence and hands-on learning, promoting decision-making skills. Teachers guide toddlers with age-appropriate materials, fostering confidence and cognitive development. Play-based philosophy complements Montessori, using play as a natural learning mode. Play encourages exploration, social skills, and problem-solving. Imaginative play and interactive activities hone motor skills and nurture curiosity.

Nursery (3 to 4 years old)

Our Nursery program showcases Montessori's impact on nurturing young minds. It blends an intricately designed environment with Montessori materials, fostering cognitive growth and character development. Children thrive with concentration, confidence, independence, and social skills.

The Montessori philosophy promotes respect, responsibility, and shared ownership. Our curriculum seamlessly integrates art and music, promoting creative imagination and strengthening passion. While English is the primary language of instruction, we also introduce Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, promoting a well-rounded, multicultural perspective.

Nature plays a teaching role, with outdoor activities like nature walks, gardening, and play enhancing curiosity and creativity.

Enrichment (2 to 4 years old)

Presently, we provide Intensive Mandarin within our enrichment programme, as we recognize the significance of fostering a comprehensive linguistic foundation.
