As well as supporting our students to achieve success in all areas of school life, we offer our parents weekly workshops covering a wide range of topics and other exciting learning opportunities throughout each academic year. In addition, our professional development program for teachers, which runs weekly, is one of the most comprehensive in the region.

At GIS, we believe in the concept of academic care: the notion that children can’t flourish academically unless they are happy, supported and well cared for. This holistic approach, in which success is more than just about good grades, defines what we do.

Our extensive CCA programme ensures that every GIS student has opportunities to flourish outside of the classroom, whether through sports, music, the creative and performing arts or any other hobby.

We are a school that is committed to our local and global community and believe we have a responsibility to help those less privileged through genuine, sustainable service opportunities. Through camps, service-based CCAs and student-led action projects in both Primary and Secondary, as well as regular school charity events, our GIS community strives to make a difference to those in need.
