We are pleased to announce that Epsom College in Malaysia (Epsom) has been awarded with the prestigious double Beacon Status by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) – a global association representing over 450 international British schools and organisations worldwide!
Dedicated to sharing their best practices with schools worldwide, Epsom exhibited excellence in two specific standards: Student Welfare and Leadership in the School, which are among the most pivotal COBIS standards. Furthermore, Epsom has received 25 commendations across the 10 standards, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to excellence.
Epsom is a co-ed British Day and Boarding School for students aged 3-18 years. We are located 15 minutes from KLIA and follow the English National Curriculum offering IGCSE and A-Levels. While our long and successful British heritage stems from our sister school of the renowned Epsom College UK - one of the very top UK independent schools - our mindset is global and we embrace the diverse culture of our student body and take delight in the beautiful Malaysian community in which we reside in.
Our Senior School welcome Day School and Boarding students, and have multiple programmes to fit your child’s needs. These include;
ECM Libra Foundation Seremban Residents Programme; offers discounted fees for Seremban Residents for Day School students. Fees are subsidised by ECM Libra Foundation;
British Boarding School; an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience, boarding at Epsom offers students the opportunity to make the most of their academic ability and expand their passions and interests beyond the classroom; be it sport, music, drama or art.
Fast Track A-Levels; a 15-month accelerated programme for A-Levels (Year 12).
The British Boarding Experience
Epsom boasts highly qualified and experienced pastoral staff who provide 24/7 pastoral care to our boarders during their term. Our pastoral staff understand the value of boarding and have the skills, training, and experience to contribute to pupils’ holistic development.
Learning and Living in a Multicultural Setting
While our long and successful heritage is British, our mindset is global. Our boarding houses are home to students from more than 20 nationalities – allowing our pupils to learn about various cultures and lifestyles, and fostering empathy, compassion, kindness and selflessness in their daily lives.
Strong & Professional Pastoral Care
Epsom works on providing a holistic social and academic environment to its students, whether in boarding or attending to the needs of its student’s well-being.
Our experienced pastoral care team, security team and nursing staff are within the campus 24/7, to ensure our student’s safety and well-being should any situations arise.
Nutritious Meals & Various Meals
The Epsom dining experience feeds the appetite of everyone and nourishes the soul. The menu is carefully designed by a nutritionist to be varied, nutritious and delicious. Dietary requirements are taken into consideration, with vegetarian options, meat and fish dishes, a salad bar and fresh fruits.
Boarding students are served breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with three snacks during the day.
Epsom_Senior School Booklet
When my daughter was about 13 or 14, she expressed a desire to study in an international school and she was pushing this idea of moving away from a Singapore environment, an international environment.
Eventually we decided that Epsom was going to be a good choice for her. I felt that she grew as a person and I could see her pounds and her stride and we felt that she was really genuine into the education stream with a lot more confidence and more importantly she looked forward to the class. And she said to me, rather impressively, that she was now learning rather than just studying.
I remember in my years discussions with my daughter in the initial stages of finding out how she felt at Epsom, the one thing that struck me was that she said to me, "Daddy, when you give a wrong answer, it doesn't translate into a criticism, it translates into a discussion" and then the teachers engage you and try to understand what made you give that answer that you did and they're trying to understand you from all aspects.
She found that journey very enjoyable but I must say that with the help of her teachers in Epsom, they gravitated her towards her potential. They provided her the right journeys to reach the destination that my daughter wants because at the end of the day, it is the channel that is integral, not the parents' aspirations or the teachers' aspirations.

I have a son in Year 11 in Epsom. My son's always been quite good at sport, and he gets huge opportunities here to do that. But also with things like the Interhouse Choral Competition, he got a chance to sing, which is not something that he would normally do, and he really enjoyed it.

I have a 16 year old and she's currently in Year 12. I need to highlight the fact that in Epsom she was able to demonstrate and to grow into a leadership position. She has honed her creativity and in Epsom there are ample opportunities for her to perform.
