Shambala Kidz is an early childhood education institute offering progressive, leadership development programmes catering to children between 3 to 6 years of age. Established in 2015, the motivation behind the founding of Shambala Kidz was simple yet profoundly inspirational - "Cultivate Leaders Make The World Better Together." Situated in the heart of Bandar Bukit Puchong, Shambala Kidz endeavours to provide a structured, safe, loving environment for children with enriching materials and activities both children generated and teacher directed.
While some children are good leaders by nature, other students need to be encouraged and nurtured to develop leadership skills. Notwithstanding, all children have the potential to develop leadership skills. Teachers can give children opportunities to serve in leadership roles. It’s therefore important that children are given the right opportunities to learn leadership skills in schools. Exposing young learners to skills needed to be leaders are crucial to help prepare the next generation to take the lead and become responsible adults.
Experienced Teachers, Passionate About Children
Students at Shambala Kidz Leadership are taught based on a coaching method as part of their learning experience. Ergo, educators at Shambala Kidz are called coaches instead of teachers. The term coach is used for a reason; apart from its pertinent connotative meaning, coaches are by default individuals who strive to identify and stimulate students' potential. As such, children are able to gain unique perspectives as their coaches guide and educate them. To ensure the quality of teaching and learning, Shambala maintains a 1-to-12 teacher-student ratio and employs only educators with qualifications in early childhood education.
Educational Programmes
Shambala offers research-backed Shambala Kidz Leadership Development Programme (SKLDP) - an educational programme developed by a team of preschool educationists, psychologists, entrepreneurs and nutritionists. The SKLDP programme is aimed to promote the long-term development and success of all children; one that effectively prepares children for primary education, college, career, and citizenship. Facilities
Shambala Kidz has invested heavily in a range of first-rate facilities such as multi-purpose hall, playground, swimming pool, mini library, reading corridors, pantry, well-equipped science and computer laboratories. These facilities help enhance the teaching and learning which exists in the school. To ensure the safety of the students, several security cameras are installed, and security guards are employed to monitor the school perimeter. In efforts to minimise risks of minor accidents, custom designed materials are used in classrooms.
