Curriculum highlights
At the heart of the 3Q MRC Junior programme lies the proprietary 3Q™ methodology, which incorporates thematic and activity-based learning for whole brain development.
It is based on the “Formula 9 Teaching Approach” – a teaching method primarily founded on the nine multiple intelligences research by Harvard University professor Howard Gardner, a household name in the field of education and learning research. Some key areas include linguistics, logic-mathematical, musical, as well as inter- and intrapersonal development.
The programme is divided into seven subjects across three different age groups (J2 - J4), with each semester lasting five months. Children explore subjects through tools such as Flazzle cards, Super Memory Maps, and interactive storytelling sessions, all designed to make learning both engaging and effective.
The multilingual curriculum focuses on English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, ensuring children can master their language skills early on. It also prepares them for the next stage of their education, whether they choose to enrol in a national or international primary school.
