Small Wonder, a preschool wholly owned by Busy Bees, a well-acclaimed early childhood education organisation, first opened its doors to students in Singapore 31 years ago. As its appeal broadened, it branched out to 6 other locations in Singapore and Vietnam, and most recently Kuala Lumpur. The breadth and depth of its curriculum are remarkably unparalleled, providing children the power to transform their lives through high quality, progressive education.

Located just a breath away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, the space within Small Wonder, Damai exudes an inviting warmth, where natural light abounds and environments are comfortably homey. Classrooms are outfitted with child-sized furnishings that can easily be reconfigured to adapt to different learning activities. There is an abundance of educational materials organised on low, open shelves which is sure to kindle the curiosity of the young. Even every hallway and adjacent areas are thoughtfully designed so that all children are visible to the teachers to ensure proper supervision. The well-resourced environment extends to a neatly turfed outdoor playground to promote active play and further opportunities for discovery. Undeniably, it’s a place where children will look forward to coming to every day.

These first 6 years are an exciting time for growth and children begin their educational journey of self-discovery here at 18 months old. The comprehensive curriculum includes: Early Years Programmes (Playgroup and Nursery 1) for 18-36 months; and Preschool Programmes (Nursery 2, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2) for 4-6 years. Key learning experiences covering language and literacy skills, creative expression, motor skills, sensory experiences, personal and social development, EQ and life skills, knowledge of the world, are introduced to build the foundations needed to progress to the next stage. In every year, teachers embrace the Small Wonder mission to nurture children to be confident and competent inquirers regardless of their varied individualities.
