Begin therapy : 4/9/15.
Demonstrated extreme difficulties in adapting to new environment, people and activities especially SI. He could literally cried and yelled throughout the 1 hr with 'adui' and 'sakit' unable to settle down to cooperate. He is however, more settled at OT. He has better concentration, focus and enjoyed the activities though uncertain of doing them and would seek help by getting teachers hand to help doing.
May : still cry and yell but able to cooperate better. Attentive throughout OT and more independent.
Mid of June : came in happy and go into SI room himself but selective on Therapist. ( only therapist with tudung) cooperative except for TB, JM & BC.
July : challenge him by having other therapist (Cecilia). He refused and cried and resorted to keep his eyes at his preferred therapist for comfort and assuring him occasionally through 'Azam, pandai'
Aug : settled and cooperative. Carries scb up STB himself with little prompting. No meaningful communication yet.
Sep : Begin to be able to take turn though still felt challenge by making cry and shout when being told that it is teacher's turn but no more running away and rolling on the floor. OT : still don't imitate or repeat after teachers yet.
Oct : begin to imitate animal sound during OT. Understand, compliant and enjoy activities other than OT as well. E.g. group activity of T & C with guidance. Still selective on therapist but able to settle sooner than before to cooperate. From day one, could not see Gym ball out of GST. Not even being used by other pals for activity. Azam also will not allow FS moving. He will go and hold it till its fully station or he will melt down on that.
Nov : less disturb and focus on the 2 matters. When F'S is spinning, he would look for a while and turn his head away. Not troubled anymore.
During OT, he repeats after teacher, ' minum, lagi'. Basic concept of shapes 'triangle' etc. He is attentive trying to pickup though does not always succeed repeating after teacher.
Still demonstrate mood swing every now and then when come in. Switch to OT acti to calm him before proceed to SI and he calms down.
Dec : got a new born brother. More cerewet at home. Mood swing shows but shows love to brother.
