At Pink Tower Childcare Centre (PTCC) we value childhood. We do not rush children. We recognize that childhood is a precious time rich in fantasy, curiosity and creativity. We provide an educational environment that is developmentally appropriate for each child.
We acknowledge that an important role of the centre is to provide an opportunity for creative expression. At PTCC our aim is that staff, families and children all have an opportunity to express themselves through their work. As a result, staff members will teach in a style that reflects their passions, traditions and beliefs. Each family will also bring to the centre their passions, traditions and beliefs. By doing this each group will have its own special feel, and identity and should remain dynamic and exciting. In addition, the centre will continue to reflect the diversity of our community.
The curriculum provides opportunities for a wide range of skill development. It encourages every child to make decisions. The teacher plans for the needs of the individual children on the basis of observations and structures the curriculum to meet these needs. This may be in the area of skill development, positive attitudes to socializing and sharing, or acquiring knowledge. Community interests shape the content of the program, and seasonal influences are taken into account in the areas of art, music and movement, language and literature, science, social studies and Mathematics.
Children are taught new techniques and are introduced to a range of creative materials but are always encouraged to use their own ideas and carry out their own work. All children progress through the same stages in their artistic development but proceed at an individual rate. It is important not to impose adult standards of drawing or painting by doing things for them, as they get dissatisfied with their own work if they are presented with adult concepts of how drawings 'should look'.
Value Underlying the Curriculum
• A caring attitude to other children, adults and all living creatures.
• Respect for the rights of self and others, and the culture of self and others.
• A love of nature and the environment.
• An appreciation of language, literature, creative arts and music.
• Awareness of the value of science, maths and knowledge of our interesting world and a desire to discover more about it and therefore foster a positive attitude to education.

As a parent, I felt very fortunate to have discovered a place called Pink Tower Childcare Centre when my daughter was only 22 months old. I am grateful for the loving care and conducive environment provided to my child and be rest assured she is in a safe and sound place. The teachers treat each child as a little adult and individual with their own strengths, character and needs. My daughter has been very blessed with awesome and great teachers who understand her needs and challenges; while handle her with grace. She has learned so much throughout the years at PTCC and continues to share with me the great activities that happened at her ‘school’ every day. When I decided to send my child to a Chinese medium primary school, I am so worried she can’t blend in with the environment as both me and my spouse are Chinese illiterate. Luckily PTCC setup one enrichment centre called Hanz Education. With a short period of 3 months, she improved in her mandarin reading skill by leaps and bounds. Currently she is able to read all 3 languages books (ie Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin) with minimal supervision. Once again thank you to PTCC for the amazing job and please continue the good work to teach the children with ‘heart’. PTCC is truly a gems in early childhood education.
What is PTCC?? A daycare center?? A kindergarden? A play center? A Shelter?
For me, is more than the above mentioned. This is a place to nurture my kids and ME. As a working parent, I have no other alternative to send my kids to a daycare center. This is when I found PTCC. I have two boys, namely Ian Lee and Wayne Lee. Ian started at PTCC since 2 years old while Wayne started when 4 years old and they are still with PTCC till now.
When my hubby and I first looking at a kinder cum daycare center, PTCC first attract our attention! The comfortability of environment, hygiene of the center, Montessori learning system and of course a caring center. We believe a caring and healthy center grow a happy kids. And, happy teachers make a happy kids and hence a happy family thereof.
The teachers have shown genuine caring, patience and understanding towards the children, they always willing to help, especially Teacher Michelle and Uncle Liew JK, they are not only providing the quality education, they hear parent voice and furnish their professional advice. They show us their compassion in growing not just a daycare center!
In the last eight years, PTCC became an extension of my family providing a safe, nurturing and academically enrichment for my kids.
I will definitely recommend this loving and caring center to any parent looking for a quality center.
Once again, I wish to take this opportunity to thank you PTCC for making a wonderful job, making PTCC a pleasant and happy place for us.
May the passion keep rolling on and all the success to PTCC.
Pink Tower is one of the great Childcare & Kindergarten in Puchong area. I'm glad to recommend this center to all my friends in Puchong.
This center owned by a sweet couple, they are Teacher Michelle & Uncle Liew. Both of them are very helpful and also an attentive teachers who never hesitated to call parents when they spotted an issue.
From my observation, the teachers main strength are ability to motivate students in different field. They always sincerely interested their students in progress and encouraged them to try their best in every activity. All the teachers work attitude are good and able to learn with each other.
In 2009, we sent Samantha to Pink Tower when she was 19 months. No reference or testimonial we could refer to, but we believed it’s the right place for Samantha at her 19th month – Montessori-based, learn-through-play, home-cooked meal, small class-size, clean environment, flexible drop-off & pick-up hour etc … the checklist and due diligence each parent would tick and pick in that situation.
Over the years, Pink Tower had become the 2nd home to Samantha where she spent almost 10 hours every day. We were grateful to find Pink Tower, for it offered a warm and nurturing environment that provide Samantha a very fulfilling childhood. Among others, some impressions rooted in our mind are:
- Each day, she would come home with different hair-style that she requested teachers to tie for her or created by teachers. The thought about such interaction always warmed our hearts very much;
- Every other day, she would bring home little art & craft or some scribbled notes that told about the fun and quality activities she had with her friends and teachers during the day; and
- Often, we found ourselves truly impressed and surprised by the wide-range of knowledge and skills that she had acquired, largely the result of various thematic-programmes via hands-on activities & fun-singing and one-to-one coaching method.
Samantha graduated from Pink Tower kindergarten in 2013. However, we continued to enjoy the strong supports from Pink Tower in her primary school years till to-date. Other than the day-care facility during school holiday, we continued to benefit from the useful tips and advice on parenting and children development that Liew and Michelle shared with us from time to time. As for Samantha, the weekly mandarin enrichment class at Hanz is a fun get-together time with her Pink Tower friends and teachers that she looks forward, although mandarin is not yet her favourite subject.
We are excited to witness the achievement of Pink Tower today, that it had expanded significantly and had won many accreditations over years. It is indeed a great recognition to the “learn through play” education concept and ever improvement culture that Pink Tower has been passionate to uphold. Congratulation Pink Tower!!
I just wanted to take the time and thank everyone at PTCC for taking such great care of our son and daughter. It gives us great peace of mind to know that both our children are in good hands while we're at work. We were stressed out trying to find good full time nanny for both before we found PTCC. You guys have far exceeded our expectations and I want everyone to know how grateful we are to have all of you involved in their life. They love going to school since day one. We've noticed how much both has progressed since 18 months old till preschool year. Great job everyone and you guys should be proud! Once again thank you PTCC for being caring and loving to our kids.
Pink Tower, an exciting preschool that my kids attended to both my kids had a fun, adventurous and worthwhile pre-schooling time in PTCC since year 2011. They gained knowledge and met lots of different levels friends which we still kept in touch with till now although both the kids left PTCC to primary school. The teachers are loving and caring. I love talking to the teachers which will always provide feedback on my kids progress in PTCC.
We appreciated each the efforts from the very dedicated teachers to my kids by pouring plenty of love, care, nourishment and laughter to them. Hope that this good culture will be continued and beneficial to other kids.
Thank you Pink Tower.
Michelle and her team at PTCC have been wonderful for our children, Joni & Hannah. Over the years since they were 2 years old, they have become more than just a childcare centre and kindergarten, they have become friends. Even now, after our children have entered primary school, they still step in and provide childcare when something comes up for us.
