Introduction

Located along Jalan Kota, at the foot of St Paul’s Hill, Melaka Islamic Museum is housed in the building which was the former administration office of the Melaka Islamic Council (Majlis Agama Islam Melaka – MAIM). The interior of the museum was inspired from the glory of Islam during the Malacca Sultanate period and the design was infused with the Asian region Islamic motives.
