Formerly a Government Rest House, built in 1946 and completed in 1947. It was built by the Borneo Construction Company Ltd. It has been turned into the Keningau Heritage Museum in 2008.

Poring is a small town 19km east of Ranau and 39km east of Mount Kinabalu in the state of Sabah in Malaysia.

Gaya Street (Sunday Market) is the place to go on Sunday mornings for some retail therapy. It is located at the Kota Kinabalu Central Business District which has served as the centre for businesses for over a hundred years.

This bazaar is located opposite the Marco Polo Hotel, is highly recommended. It's the best place to purchase goods such as batik sarongs, kitsch handicrafts and branded cosmetics.
