A fun-filled weekend at the Children’s Education Expo

on 28/09/2015 - 04:27 pm

As the EG Groups' media partner for the Children’s Education Expo 2015, did our part to keep the kiddie visitors and their parents entertained.

The Main Stage The Entrance of Hall 1 had a breathless and fun-filled time at the Children’s Education Expo 2015, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, held from 25 to 27 September.

Breathless because we were running around during the three days making sure there was enough sand for the more than 600 children who came to our booth to create sand art. And fun-filled because the children -- and mummies and daddies -- were really enjoying themselves working on their colourful masterpieces. Our booth floor soon became a sandy beach, but it was worth it as everyone had a good family bonding time.

During the Expo, also managed to get more than 250 parents to participate in our Malaysia Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) Survey 2015, a survey to find out what parents look for when they enroll their children into an ECCE centre. The results of the survey will help ECCE providers to better understand parents’ needs and to improve the quality of their services. An added bonus is that for every completed survey form, will donate RM5 to Stepping Stones Living Centre, a residential centre for underprivileged children, distressed widows/single mothers, and abandoned old folks.

This year’s Children’s Education Expo also incorporated the Kids Improvement & Academy Show 2015, which had an array of non-stop stage activities, such as “Meet the Astro Xiao Tai Yang Celebrities”, fashion show, games and children’s performances. The Expo showcased a wide selection of children’s education classes, books, kids’ improvement gadgets and enrichment programs, plus thousands of related products.

The children were the happiest among us during the Expo’s three days. Pre-schoolers were having the thrill of their lives zooming down Toy Land’s inflatable bouncer slides, while the older children took part in events such as the Pelikan Colouring Contest, Lantern Contest and Robotics Workshop… plus learnt how to perform magic tricks at Kidzania’s booth (what a cool way to impress your classmates!)

It was indeed a most rewarding three days for We were especially thrilled when parents and product/service providers visited our booth and expressed keen interest in our parenting directory. Thank you for making our day!

Many thanks also to EG Groups Holding for selecting as your media partner for the Expo. We certainly hope for more of such partnerships in the future.
